Welcome to the official blog of petermckinnon. I am a photographer / entertainer based out of Toronto, Ontario. This blog is the epicenter of all that is me. 

I have never been a big fan of bios. For the most part they are usually filled with ego boosting material that basically just screams " me! me! me!" I will give you the basic run down:

I love taking photos. I shoot for istock international and mckinnon & clarke wedding photography. I dont have a favorite color, I like them all. Hot sauce is the best thing next to gatorade, and I love 24. I have a bird named sam and a knack for adding lots of contrast to my images :) 

Oh, I do a lot of card tricks so im told...

Shooting Pics

On a photo shoot, there are always photos of people taking photos. It’s just what we do. Pulled a few pics off of bryan today from the shoot on wednesday. Some pretty nifty shots, not going to lie. I can foresee these being utilized in upcoming himynameispeter projects.    Im a big fan of the window shot....

Word! We attempted to create a candid advertisement today for the wedding site. I seem to have trouble infront of a camera when it comes time to buckle down and deliver the lines. I like to have fun a little to much. To say the least, we just took shots for the about page instead...
